2019 ...Your Best Year Yet!

Happy New Year! Today, the very first day of 2019 we are all excited for the amazing things the new year can bring. After the champagne headaches go away, that is. We anticipate happiness and good health. We want to experience joy, engage in great relationships, feel fulfilled in our careers and create weath. We want to have fun, too!


We have a lot of expectations for this brand new year, don't we?


After a few weeks however, the novelty of this new year thing wears off and its back to the same old, same old!


How many years have you made a New Years Resolution only to abandon it by the third week of January? One year? Two? Every one you can remember?


Why?


Because you didn't do anything different to create the Happy New Year you envisioned.


You didn't have a plan.


Here's an easy 3 step plan that can help you make 2019 Your Best Year, Yet!


1. Write it down!


Ask yourself these questions. What do you want to have? What do you want to do? What do you want to create? Where do you want to go? Who do you want to meet? Who do you want to be in 2019? This is Your Dream Life 2019.


Don't get stuck in "How" your going to accomplish these things. Just write it down. Add as many details as you can. What does it feel like? What does it look like?


2. Visualize It!


Create a Vision Board. Yes, its old school and some people find it a little woo woo. But it works! Tony Robbins and Oprah have both said that they create a vision board every year. And they seem to do pretty well. If it works for Oprah. .. Just saying!


You can follow the Old School way by cutting out picturs and saying from magazines or you can use the New School way. Write down 20 things that you would like to do, have, or create. Who do you want to be or meet in 2019?


They go online and find pictures that correlate to the items on your list. I find this to be much more purposeful than tearing out random pictures from a magazine.


Beside, most of my magazines are cooking and health related so there is not a lot of diverse material, anyway.


3. Say It Out Loud!


Every morning when you wake up read you Dream Life 2019 out loud and every evening before you go to bead read it again. The more you say it the more you are thinking about your dream life and the more opportuities will come your way.
